Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Southfield, MI

Job Description

Administer internal servers running various software platforms such as Laravel, React, WHMCS, MediaWiki, OrangeHRM, and GitLab. Oversee maintenance and operations of backup solutions including BackupPC, R1Soft, and Restic. Manage and enhance provisioning systems such as EasyDCIM, Ansible, and Vault. Manage and optimize monitoring tools such as Nagios, Kibana, Zabbix, Thanos, Prometheus, Node exporter, Grafana and Alertmanager to ensure high availability and performance. Administer multiple OpenStack environments and Ceph storage instances, ensuring scalable and reliable storage solutions. Engineer and refine internal tools to support operations and system administration. Act as point of escalation for complex technical issues encountered by System Administrators and DevOps Engineers, providing technical expertise and guidance.

Requirements

Requires Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field and at least two years of experience with web server configuration, database management, backup management, code debugging, security issue resolution, website migration, and use of OpenStack and Ceph.
